Easy recipe for tasty lentils!

Ingredients
- 1 Cup dried lentils I use green
- 2 Cups Vegetable stock
- 1 Bay leaf
- Salt
- 1 Clove garlic finely chopped
- 1/8 Tsp Ground cloves
- 1/8 Tsp nutmeg
- 3 Tbsp Oil
- 3 Tbsp Apple cider or apple juice
- 3 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 3 Tbsp Molasses or honey

Instructions
- Bring the stock to a boil in a large pot and add the lentils, bay leaf and salt.
- Cover and simmer gently for 30 minutes.
- Add the garlic, cloves, nutmeg, oil, juice and vinegar. Stir to mix well. Cook 5 minutes longer, or until lentils are tender.
- Add the honey or molasses just after turning off the heat and stir thoroughly to mix.
