  1. Spoon half of the batter into baking pan. Sprinkle half of the chocolate chips onto the batter. Sppon remaining batter on top. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
  2. Preheat oven to 350C.
  3. Beat eggs until frothy. Beat in sugar. Add squash and cooking oil. Beat.
  4. Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and cocoa in a bowl.
  5. Mix dry ingredients in with the wet ingredients.
  6. Bake for 65-70 minutes (much less if you are using smaller pans). Toothpick should come out clean. Let cake cool completely before removing from pan.
  7. Ice with any type of icing if desired.
