Ingredients
- 4 Large eggs
- 2 Cups Granulated sugar
- 14 Oz Squash or pumpkin Cooked and mashed, any kind
- 3/4 Cup Cooking oil
- 2 Cups flour All purpose or a mix of flours
- 2 Tsp Baking powder
- 1 Tsp Baking Soda
- 2 Tsp Ground cinnamon
- 3/4 Tsp Salt
- 1/4 Cup Cocoa Sifted
- 1 Cup Semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions
- Spoon half of the batter into baking pan. Sprinkle half of the chocolate chips onto the batter. Sppon remaining batter on top. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
- Preheat oven to 350C.
- Beat eggs until frothy. Beat in sugar. Add squash and cooking oil. Beat.
- Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and cocoa in a bowl.
- Mix dry ingredients in with the wet ingredients.
- Bake for 65-70 minutes (much less if you are using smaller pans). Toothpick should come out clean. Let cake cool completely before removing from pan.
- Ice with any type of icing if desired.
