This recipe is similar to the one I use but also produces excellent cookies!
Remember, don’t skimp on the chocolate chips…

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Butter Softened
- 1 Cup White Sugar
- 1 Cup Brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tsp vanilla
- 2 Tbp milk
- 1 Cup flour All purpose type
- 1 Cup Whole wheat or barley flour or any other type of flour!
- 2 Cups Oatmeal
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1 Tsp Baking powder
- 2 Cups Chocolate Chips Be generous!

Instructions
- In large bowl, mix the softened butter and the sugars together well.
- Add the eggs, vanilla and milk and continue to mix.
- Add all the dry ingredients.
- When all is well mixed, stir in the chocolate chips.
- Spoon onto cookie sheets, the size based on personal preference.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 7- 10 minutes or until edges are browned. For chewier cookies, cook the shorter time. Cool on wire rack.
