I think one of my biggest pet peeves about people making choices about charities is to rely on the old “administrative” overhead calculation. We don’t measure companies based on “overhead” so why do we rate charities this way? Where did actual research go?

Mark Blumberg¬†supports Canadian charities with respect to CRA requirements and other obligations.¬† From his webpage: “GlobalPhilanthropy.ca will assist non-profits and charities in Canada in trying to be transparent, legal, ethical and effective.”

For anyone who is still a believer in “administrative costs”, please read this.
