David Suzuki is an award-winning geneticist, environmentalist, broadcaster and the co-founder and chair of the David Suzuki Foundation. He is familiar to audiences around the world as host of CBC TV’s long-running series, The Nature of Things. He has authored over 50 books, including The Legacy: An Elder’s Vision for Our Sustainable Future, and is widely recognized as a world leader in sustainable ecology. Dr. Suzuki has received numerous awards for his work, including a UNESCO prize for science, a United Nations Environment Program medal, and is a Companion of the Order of Canada.
Jeff Rubin presents The End of Growth, the urgent follow-up to his best-selling Why Your World Is About To Get A Whole Lot Smaller, in which Rubin argues that the end of cheap oil means the end of growth. Rubin was the Chief Economist and Chief Strategist at CIBC World Markets, where he worked for over twenty years. He was one of the first economists to accurately predict soaring oil prices back in 2000 and is one of the world’s most sought-after energy experts. Rubin blogs weekly for The Globe and Mail.
