Sometimes my friends wonder where I am in September and October. Well, probably in the kitchen! I have to admit that this year I did more canning than I have ever done in the past so it’s possible six or sever weekends were decided to this task.
I often think about women in year’s past who had to ensure they had enough food for their family through the winter. I have no real concept of how much work that was but I do know how much work the jars I prepared were! Thankfully my husband is often around and will help chop or peel tomatoes. 😉
